Association group travels to the US to inspect the International Creative Handicrafts and Supplies Expo

　　To gain a deeper understanding of the global development of the household sewing equipment industry, an industry delegation organized by the China Sewing Machinery Association arrived in Chicago, USA, on May 8-9 to conduct a professional inspection and exchange at the 2025 International Creative Handicrafts and Supplies Expo (h+h expo). The delegation was led by Chen Ji, vice chairman and secretary-general of the China Sewing Machinery Association, and included executives from several companies such as Feihu, Kawi, and Jinhe.

　　Founded in Cologne, Germany, the h+h expo is one of the most influential professional exhibitions in the global handmade sewing arts field. The exhibition includes nearly a thousand professional exhibitors and supporting institutions from around the world, attracting professional buyers and handmade sewing enthusiasts from various countries. This year's h+h expo lasted three days and maintained strong popularity, with nearly 400 exhibitors and over 4,000 professional visitors from global household sewing equipment, quilting materials, accessories, and professional services and educational institutions in handmade sewing participating in the exhibition and on-site skill exchanges.

　　Chen Ji and his team conducted a detailed inspection of the organization and holding of the exhibition, and with the assistance of Mr. Dong Ke, the person in charge of Fei Yue USA Company, a representative of Chinese-funded institutions on-site, they exchanged views with executives from several globally renowned exhibitors such as BERNINA, BABY LOCK, GRACE, BROTHER, and JANOME, as well as representatives of professional visitors, and experienced several household sewing equipment models that integrate cutting-edge technology with traditional sewing arts.
